But for professionals only apparently. Want a good and safe way to destroy roaches and ants? Mix Karo syrup and 20 Mule Team Borax (can substitute boric acid too since it is the boron which is toxic to those critters) and apply to where they are seen. The mix of borax and Karo syrup is pretty harmless to humans (a food and a laundry product after all, and not even a carcinogen apparently). It works slowly over a period of days as they eat it and bring it home to others. Once an ant queen is fed it the entire colony dies out in a week or so. (Do not use any poison sprays while doing this as it kills the critters rather than letting them live long enough to bring the boron back to their "HQ" to feed/kill all the others.)
Borac acid powder can also kill roaches a second way, by harming their waxy coating and allowing them to dehydrate to death in addition to simply killing by ingestion, but ants have to eat the boron component.
