Today I tried to use a Groupon which is soon to expire. I called the number of the business, which was a personal phone number for this individual who rented space within another's location for her business. As I was trying to ask if she was somewhere else where I could see how things went with her, she hung up on me! I immediately called the Groupon customer service #. The agent took my complaint and credited my Groupon account with the value of the initial purchase.

I had a great customer service agent who had thanked me for being a Groupon purchaser for a number of years now and a regular customer. It was nice to feel appreciated. It's not often that I have to resort to dealing with customer service anywhere, and it's refreshing to know that there is still a perception of a valued customer base.
