FREE Prescription drugs for low to moderate income
This site is amazing! It lists ALL of the name brand drugs that you can get for free directly from the manufacturers if you meet certain requirements (income, no prescription coverage, etc.). It clearly lists the requirements for EACH drug you look up. It can be quite a lengthy process for filling out the applications (which you can do online!) and sending them in, but DEFINITELY worth it.
I've been getting my grandfather his medications through the help of this site for totally free (or sometimes a $5 copay)! He gets over $200 in free drugs a month! He's on medicare and could not afford his prescriptions (his doctor referred me to this site). Almost EVERYONE who is on medicare or social security will qualify for these drugs.
I find it's easiest to look up the BRAND NAME of each drug, but if I can't find it by that I look through the generics... have fun looking and I REALLY hope this can help others as much as it has helped our family. TRULY a God send!

Thanks very much! If we qualify this will save us over $400 every year on my husband's coumadin.

This is a great link OP!!
More people should be aware of these programs offered by virtually every company. Also if your rx is not listed find their number and call to ask about any financial assistance programs they may have.
I personally get Nexium for free (120.00 mo/) and they ship them to me very 3 mos with only a annual renew. Also Advair which is about 100-150 for only 5.00 through their program.
You can also have your Dr. fax your ins company the need for ANY certain drug and most likely they will approve it. You have to work and ask and do some leg work...but in the end it does pay off.

I need to call my grandfather! My grandmother is on several drugs for Alzheimer's, and they may have to take her off because they can't afford it. It would be great if they qualify for this so they don't have to do that. Thanks, OP!

This is n excellent resource but please note that not all the programs are completely free. Some require a minimal copay. Those companies usually send you a card that you take to the pharmacy with your prescription and you pay $5 some may even be $10.

TYTY !!! 5-10 dollar co-payment is a lot better then the 435.00 my grandparents pay a month on medical supplies, my grandma just stopped working at 82 because she can't take it anymore and with no insurance and medicare not covering half of what they need they weren't sure how much they could even keep taking. It just scares me to know how many elderly people are risking their lives monthly because they can't afford to take the proper medication to keep themselves healthy.

I'm glad you're finding the site useful! It's truly disheartening to me that this resource is out there and so many people who truly need it do not know about it. I can't wait to hear how much money everyone and their families will be saving each month! There's also another site :
http://www.rxhope.com/
which lists some other types of medications that aren't listed on the rxassist website... such as Klonopin and other psychiatric drugs, as well as many other drug types.
