They usually have them at Hobby Lobby every year for $2.99 each. I have about 5 of them. But this close to Easter they are probably sold out. And I don't even know if you have a Hobby Lobby in your area.
Hello:
Has anybody found a store that sells the Giant Plastic Easter Eggs, for placing on your lawn outside the house? I haven't seen them in a few years but I remember they came in about 6 to 8 colors and were not too expensive. They were about the size of a basketball only egg shaped... In the past I've seen them in K-mart, and some Supermarkets, but not in a while...
I'm not looking for anything that lights, or opens, or does anything other than lay on the lawn and look quaint and colorful...
I'm in the Northeast so those are the stores I would like to know about...
Thanks for any help...
Cheers, Bob

I don't know who has these but I do have a funny story. My friend I used to work with was mortified she wanted these as well for her yard since she has a small daughter. Well she was going to work last year and saw these in somebodies yard by their garbage and thought they were throwing them out since they were mingled in with garbage and Easter was over, so she was loading up when the husband came out and asked what she was doing. She said she hoped he didn't mind her picking in his garbage but she wanted the eggs he told her "what garbage and those are my decoration" neighbor was out and told her that they are just really messy people and they always have trash in their yard. I know it's off topic but your post reminded me of it.
Actually I have a funny story too about these eggs and it's actually why I'm looking for them. My across the street neighbor put out six or so of these eggs on her lawn every year. One year my wife bought one in a store that was a color our neighbor didn't have. Then we descreetly placed it on her lawn and said nothing. When our neighbor spotted it she thought something was different but wasn't sure...she also thought she was cracking up. After going to everybody else in our cul-de-sac and asking them if they had put it there (and of course they all thought she had gone around the bend) she came to us and we denied it too. We kept her in the dark for a week or so and then fessed up... She had finally convinced herself that (a) it must be hers, and (b) she was losing it. We all had a good laugh...Originally Posted by matthewsmomma
Well that was about 5-years ago, and I figure it's time to work on her again, hense my need for these eggs...which I never did find...
