    Vinedale Research Questions

    Hello,

I recently signed up with Vinedale research and am getting email offers to do either product tests or buy services/products with a promised reimbursement of between $15-20 for each offer I sign up for. Cash out is when the account reaches $50.

    Here's a couple of examples:

Does anyone have experience with this survey program and do they actually pay you?

    Thanks!
    Tess

    Hi Tess,
I haven't heard of them. I clicked on your links and I noticed that a credit card is required , I would have to say I would be very leary of one that requires a credit card. I have been doing them for some time (quite awhile before joining this board) and I have never had to give credit card info. hth

    Hi Tess,

I agree with Tami4965, it's just too dangerous to give out our cc #'s, especially to a survey company that we know nothing about. I too, had signed up for, and was going to go for one or two, but decided I didn't want to take the chance. I'm sticking with the companies that I KNOW pay me and won't sell my information to 3rd parties. Good luck!

There are so many legitimate marketing companies out there who pay for surveys and product testing without requiring you to give up your credit card info and sign up for "offers".... ummmm...why would you go with these guys? Vindale Research appears to have a horrible reputation.

Here is a link to complaints people have made to the Survey Police about Vindale Research: http://www.surveypolice.com/rapsheet-company.php?id=186

People aren't getting paid, more than a few panalists have got unauthorized charges being made to their credit cards by the companies they are supposed to evaluate, and the company doesn't respond to emails in a reasonable amount of time, if at all, etc.

You can find more complaints about the company just by doing a Google search. There are accusations of 'selling under the guise of marketing' too.

A company called Manila Industries owns the website. Do a Google search on them and you find all sorts of accusations of 'interesting business practices'.

I had some problems a few months ago. They told me that if I tried something I would be charged only $1 for a trial yet my credit card got charged for the full $39.80 for the subscription. I did not give Vindale my info just the siite which was reputable. I called Vindale about the charge and they told me it wan't their problem and to deal directly with the company. When I tried to tell the company that I was only supposed to be charged the $1 they gave me a hard time at first but when I said I was calling the Better Business Bureau they quickly reversed the charge, I emailed Vindale and cancelled my account.
