I have never been chosen for a houseparty and wonder if there are any 'tricks of the trade' in the application process.

    Thanks.

Well I have gotten in on most every one. I think it really really has to do with demographics....

I agree. If you live in a more populated area, you obviously have more people you can tell about the product, and that's the whole idea with house party.
    GL this time

I live in the pretty remote area too but as a state (NJ) we are highly populated. I think they look at the state more then the town you live in

It is so hard really not knowing what they are looking for! Like this one, they might be looking for people with Canon cameras, but maybe not? They might want people that work in one certain career over another, but why? I am hoping that they are looking for teachers Honestly, I just answer honestly and hope I get in. I have also not tried for things that really don't interest me anyway. The water one would be fine, but not something I would get really into so I didn't apply for that one. That live bright one or whatever it was, looked like it was geared for over 40, wish they would tell you that up front in a way....not that it takes long to apply, just that if you are out of the running from the start you don't pencil that in on your calendar for a party.

I agree with both views re the demographics...living in a big city is great re exposure but it counts against you because tooooo many people apply. I think we all have a good (or not so good) chance of getting picked each time we apply. It's a toss of the coin, really.

I have to agree with you, because I live in a small town - but my state is OVER populated!
