I'm going to Los Angeles on Sunday and I'm having a hard time finding a hotel. I don't know the area at all! I need a hotel close to Staples Center since we're going to a Lakers game that night, but everything I search for on TripAdvisor in that area comes up with reviews saying that the area is really dangerous and to avoid the hotels there. Does anyone know anyplace that isn't too far from Staples where we won't get killed walking around and doesn't cost more than $150/night? Lol. Also, we're taking a cruise the next day. Does anyone know how far the cruise port is (I think it's in Long Beach) from where we will be staying and the easiest way to get there? If by cab if is it an expensive ride?
