Is OM still giving free paper for an empty cartridge?
Heading to Office Max next week. Just wondering if they are still giving free paper for an empty ink cartridge. Thanks in advance.

Go to www.officemax.com and click on "Weekly In-Store Specials". OM on LI is still doing it.

Yes, BUT... they and Office Depot are now stating NO Canon or Epson cartridges.
Of course, I had been saving the cartridges, only to find out I can't take my Canon cartridges in. Oh well, you get some freebies and you don't get others.

One alternative is to see if your child's school has a buy-back program for used cartridges. There are a few companies that buy back cartridges for recycling and, while they don't give HUGE amounts of money for the spent cartridges, it adds up. The schools reap the benefits, which, in the long run, helps us ALL out. One other hint is to encourage local businesses to donate their large printer cartridges (those monster cartridges that cost over a hundred bucks to replace); those are the big ticket items. If the PTA can get a pick-up or retrieval system in place to get these donated cartridges when they are ready, it can add up to literally thousands of dollars for your school by year's end. AND it makes the company look good for donating to the school.
Wow. I blabbered a lot. Hope this was of some good use. Mikey |

I went to both Office Depot and Office Max today and both were doing it. Office Depot is doing it until March of next year (check the coupon that's on the packs of paper). Office Max only does it occasionally but this week is one of those weeks that they are. You have to check their flyers or you can call them at 1-877-OFFICEMAX. Both places today took my Epson cartridges w/no problems. Maybe it's only certain locations that have restrictions on which kinds they're accepting??? Dunno.
Does anybody know how often Staples does it? I've never tried them for recycling of cartridges. |

The Staples by me did the free paper once last Spring . I noticed in this week's Staple's flyer that they are giving $1 to your favorite school if you bring in a cartridge.
Does anyone have a resource for getting cash for printer and toner cartidges for a fund raiser? |

Just went to Office Depot last night with an empty one. Still trading it for 1 pack of recycled paper.
