Be careful.
They run this ad in the paper here all the time. This lot is NOT at the Fort Lauderdale airport, nor is it affiliated with the airport, but a mile or so away and you are relying on their shuttle. I am guessing this is the same across the country. Depending on when you are flying and who you are flying with this could be a not too safe situation IMO. |

Avistar is great - We used them when we fly in and out of Kennedy in NYC
Drop off your car - about 1 mile from the airport - they vallet park your car - then shuttle you to your terminal. When you land and have collected your luggage, call the toll free #, wait outside the terminal and they bring you to the parking lot. The parking lot is under 24 hour guard and you cannot leave the facility unless you have paid and receive an exit token. All in all I have been extremely pleased with Avistar. BTW - JetBlue.com also carries these coupons. |

Thanks for the coupon. I have a trip coming up and have used them before. I am confused about "what is unsafe"? I fly on business a few times a year and also for personal trips and I used to fly all the time in the past for business and I never park at the airport. I always take the shuttle and have never had a problem. It's usually much more expensive for me (airport long term parking, plus sometimes it's full and then you're stuck with short term which will cost you a fortune) since I usually fly out of Oakland or San Francisco. FYI there are many airport parking companies all over around an airport. This is common everywhere and I have never had a problem. It's also much easier to use since most take you right to your car and you don't have trek all over with your suitcases trying to find it.
