Sears GDA
as posted elsewhere:
$1,100 worth of stuff for $ 100 at Sears! (3/20/2004 7:58:35 AM): Run! Sears is having a blowout sale on all pink ticketed items. Last night one of the store employees told me that anything women was like $2.97 if it was pink tagged, the same for men's and childrens clothing. Also, handbags and jewelry would be $1.97. The signs were not even up...so I made my first purchase. Two purses regular $50 on sale for $35 and about 15 items of jewelry that ranged in price from $50 - 15. Total price including tax $31.00!!!!! So off I went and purchased about 6 more purses that were $50.00 that rang up $1.97. I purchased Lands End sweaters for next winter for myself, daughter, husband and sister-in-laws family....even a Lands end Robe was regularly $58...got it for $15...Total $68 I calculated total of merchandise before sale prices...$1,194, even with pick tickets would have been $$564....my total price $100!!!! One of the store clerks bought a leather jacket for her daughter - $2.97! People started catching on when they saw me with 6 handbags in my possession...and they were putting out the signs atabout 8:00 p.m. last night....I was so excited..I hate to put any of it away because its so hard to believe! |

I went to Sears last night and all of the Women's pink tickets were $3.97 (and men's too except that there were three sorry looking men's items left) and children's pink tickets were $2.97. It was a small Sears and so there were no shoes nor handbags. I can't wait to see at another Sears whether shoes are included as well!
