Went into my local WalkMart today with a coupon that states "Buy one 3 count razor refills, get one razor cartridge FREE". No propblem. right? Wrong! Does that seem confusing to you? The lady nastily pojnted out to me that I had to buy TWO refills to get the cartridge free. I pointed it out to her that on the coupon it says "Buy ONE". After haggling with her for 5 minutes the manager came over and asked to see the coupon. I was right! Ah-ha!

I run into confused cashiers sometimes. More often, though, I run into cashiers that just can't stand someone getting a bargin. I actually had one tell me "it wasn't fair" that I was getting a bunch of stuff for pennies. Then she tried to deny my coupons

. Of course the Manager okay them.

I hate it when that happens. I always want to ask the cashier "What, is the money from my coupon coming out of your pocket? What the heck do you care if I walk away with a bag full of stuff that I only paid pennies for? Do you have some sort of personal interest invested in this?" Maybe they're just jealous!

Actually they do have a personal interest. At some stores if they take an incorrect coupon the managers come down on them HARD. Jobs are hard to find so the clerks in those stores tend to be coupon cops in defense of their job.

Sadly it's happening at a grocery store closest to me. EVERY coupon is read before it's scanned. Most coupons are NEVER scanned at all but rather manually entered.

Once one clerk wanted to see the coupons I was holding BEFORE she rang up the groceries. OK I'll play. So I gave her the coupons.. she read them. She had to lock her drawer and go ask CS about a couple of them. She came back all my coupons had been declaired VALID. How handy

So she proceeded to deduct all the coupons and came up with a big fat negative.
She was stunned.
She looked at me like I should do something about it.
I did.
I told her it always helps if you actually ring up the groceries too.
DUH. She was so concerned about the coupons she had never even rang up one grocery item.
But I can't fault her. This store has really put serious fear into clerks about coupons and job loss.

I'm nasty lady when it comes to clearks giving me problems with my coupons.

I have to agree with all of you on this, I get so aggravated when I am using alot of coupons and the cashiers act as if I am getting over or getting something for nothing and they are not in on it. I even had one cashier tell me to put every coupon on each item I bought, I flat out told her no, that it was her job not mine. I can understand some people try and get over on things, but I am one that is honest and don't feel like being treated like a criminal.

OH YEAH I GET THE LOOKS ALL THE TIME MAKES ME MAD . I`M DOING NOTHING WRONG JUST TRYING TO SAVE SOME MONEY.WHAT DO THEY CARE THEY GET THEIR MONEY BACK WHEN THEY SEND THE COUPONS IN.

cashiers hate me they ALWAYS think I am stealing everything. I got told I am commiting murder. THEN I NEED A COUPON FOR A GUN AND A SKI MASK ANY OUT THERE LOL

THEY ARE JUST JEALOUS PLAIN AND SIMPLE.....
