Question Anyone else having Overcharging Problems?

I am really getting tired of being overcharged especially on Sundays when the ads change but the stores haven't got all the price changes up.

Today alone I got overcharged at one store by $2.50 AND they failed to scan $2.00 worth of coupons. The next store overcharged me by $3.20. There goes all my coupon savings for these trips! I even pointed out to the cashier that it didn't appear to ring up correctly and she assured me it would be taken off at the end of the transaction. Of course, there was a line behind me and I forgot to look until I got home.

Is anyone else seeing that some stores are consistantly overcharging on sale items?

That used to happen to me at one particular Safeway I would shop at, the day that the ads changed. I would, without fail, have to point out to the cashier "no, that price is incorrect." And of course they would say "oh, oh, so sorry. The ads changed and the prices aren't inputted yet."

I GUESS I WILL START CHECKING MY RECIEPTS MORE OFTEN, CAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME BUT IT SEEMED LIKE I WASNT GETTING THE DEALS FROM MY COUPONS LIKE I WAS SUPPOSE TO AND THE TOTAL SEEMED HIGH.

OMG! That is so annoying. It happens all the time too! I went to Target last Monday and had 60.00 worth of stuff and after my coupons it was 25.00 adn I had two high value coupons, one for 5.00 and a 3.00 one and they didn't take them off! I had to go back afte I stood at the door to Target and looked at my receipt! But that happens to me all the time where stuff ends up scanning higher than the shelf or buy one get one stuff rings up full price! I hate that!

i hate when that happens to me! But i also am a cashier at JCPenneys and understand what thats like. Most of us there check the prices because oftentimes the signs say one thing and the computer doesnt ring up the item with the right price. I usually try to be really nice about it cause if theres one thing i hate, its deal with nasty cashiers..and ive dealt with my share of them.

I have the same problem too! I usually check the whole receipt when I get back to the car. I never buy anything that is not either on sale and/or I have a coupons for. So, I sit in the car and check of each item with the corresponding coupon and make sure that the coupons double or trippled correctly. If things don't match up and half the time they don't I go to customer service desk to get things adjusted or if there is a coupon missing I have to go to the cashier to retrieve it. I have learned to count the number of coupons and then count the beeps when the cashier is scanning them. If they don't match, I know the cashier missed something. It sure is annoying though.
