Can someone confirm that Wal-Mart owns Dollar Tree?
On another thread (now closed) someone stated that Dollar Tree was owned by Wal-Mart.
I had never heard that before and have been trying to find anything, anywhere on the internet that says they are before boycotting Dollar Tree. I even went to Hoovers and nothing shows the stores are owned by Wal-Mart. (Am I just missing something?) |

dollar tree is out of chesapeak va. i think they are even on the stock market as dollar tree. it is dltr.

hmmm I don't know...I just looked it up in Florida and looks like it is all in Chesapeake, VA even their officers so I wouldn't think that they have anything to do with Walmart

Dollar Tree has its headquarters in Chesapeake, VA. I have driven by it many times. It is not owned by WalMart.
