I didnt get the smartsource this week either. I kinda felt jipped because I buy the paper just for the coupons. It was worth it enough for the Tide P&G coupon but I hate when I buy a paper when my subscription lapses and I dont get all of the coupons I'm entitled to LOL

In more bad news my safeway announced (quite rudely and loudly to me) today they do not accept "printer coupons" So now I'm writing angry emails. Stores, do NOT cross a couponer!!

Just an FYI - during a holiday week, there usually aren't any coupons in the Sunday Paper. Sometimes P&G will send some, but you won't get the usual ones.

Our paper had quit carrying them for several months....the paper said they could do nothing since SmartSource decides who gets them.

So, I bought a paper from a city that had the SmartSource coupons and made note of who was advertising in them. Then I began an e-mail campaign telling these big companies that it seemed unfair that they would give some areas coupons and my area never gave them. And why in the world would I want to waste my time to scour the internet to see if they had a coupon and then use my ink and paper to print it if they did....or "buy" it off of e-Bay!!! I'd just use their competitors ad in the Valassis inserts that I did get.

(I mentioned to them that Valassis almost always had an insert....so they could mention to SmartSource that if they weren't going to distribute them in our area they might have to advertise with Valassis.)

At first I got these "autoresponder" e-mails....saying something about "we don't send out coupons" so I hit "reply" and told them that apparently they were not reading my e-mail because I never asked for that....all I want is to get a SmartSource insert.

In 10 days we started getting our SmartSource and have since.

You might try it....and get a few others to do it also....just to see what happens. You really can make a difference!

Yep, thats just what my Newspaper office informed me of

You would think advertiser's would want us out & shopping during a Holiday

Thats their little trick though. They know more than likely you will be spending money over the holiday weekend and they want you to do it at (gasp ) full price!!

It really is stupid though!
