September Shopping Brags

I guess I'll start it this month.

Went on a multi-store trip yesterday:

BiLo:
2 Suave conditioners (on sale for 99 cents), plus my 2 coupons for 50 cents were doubled to 99 cents = FREE.

Giant Eagle:
3 Purex Liquid Detergents (on sale for $3.00 each), had three 35 cent coupons, doubled to 70 cents each = $2.30 each
Palmolive Anti-Stress Dishwashing Detergent 48 oz. (on sale for $2.19), had coupon for 30 cents off, doubled to 60 cents off = $1.59

Kroger:
Morningstar Farms Italian Marinara (on sale for $3.00), had Kroger Catalina for $1.50 off, plus mfr coupon for $1.00 off = 50 cents
4 other Morningstar Farm Products (on sale for $3.00 each), had four $1.00/1 coupons = $2.00 each
Pepsi Edge, had a coupon to get it FREE = FREE

There were a lot more great deals at Kroger, but I can't remember them right now. I know that I saved a total of $46.51 though!

Next?

From Rite Aid Rebates. The B1G1F Coupons just came out last week so it was a last minute deal. LOL

They had buy $20 in Gillette products and get a 1:24 Scale NASCAR Die Cast Replica and we can choose what we want.

Using the following coupons:
Buy 1 Venus Deluxe 4ct refill get razor free (came out last week's inserts)
TMF Forms on Gillette Venus Razor and Satin Care
$2/1 Venus Divine Razor Refills

Purchased at Rite Aid:
Gillette Razor - $9.49 = FREE with B!G!F Coupon & Make money on TMF Form
Gillette 4Ct Refills -$9.99 - $2 Coupon $ FREE after applying TMF Rebate from above to cost of refill
Gillette Satin Care = $3.49 = FREE with TMF Form

so I spend $20+ and qualify for the FREE Nascar Die Cast 1:24 Scale..

The above freebies, since I can't use will go on Ebay except for the NASCAR Collectible. LOL

Picked up Walgreens Far's this week.
Nothing exciteing happening here.

Small doubleing trip to a grocery store limit is 10 doubles per doubler from the paper but I went once in the morning and once in the late afternoon = 20 doubled coupons:

Totinos Pizza Rolls and/or Sandwich rolls sale price 4/$5
14 boxes Pizza rolls after doubled 50/1 coupons the price was 25¢ a box.
5 boxes of the Sandwich rolls after doubled 50/1 coupons the price was 25¢ a box.

Got 1 Banquet Chiken fingers Meal $1.25 sale - $1 (50/ any Banquet chicken item coupon doubled) = 25¢ my cost

Got 2 bottles 2-litter Dr pepper FREE + tax
(coupons was 1 free wyb any 2 pizza items but I only had 2 of those coupons with me. Had left an bunch at home. Can't win them all.)

~~~~~
Got a free hug when I dropped all that off at my son's house! They like the pizza stuff but I don't know if they'll like Sandwich Rolls or not. For 25¢ they can try them.
~~~~~

Another store limit on doubleing "Like" coupons is 2 per DAY:

from last week:

BiLo
Eclipse mints on sale for 0.99; used $1/1 on them. Basically had to pay 2% food tax for them.

Harris Teeter:
Mentos mints on sale for 0.79; used 0.55/1 coupon which doubled to 0.99 (normal price of Mentos); so made 0.20 on each box. I bought 6 -- $1.20 overage came off my milk.

Mentos gum on sale for 0.79; used the FREE coupons and made 0.20 overage on each b/c their cash register wouldn't let the cashier type in 0.79 (sale price) b/c the register only acknowledges the regular price. So, for each of my 6 boxes, they had to type in 0.99 No complaints, again overage went toward milk.

A small note about this month's Walgreen's rebates..just in case you missed it.
Rebate # 20 says you can do it 5 times for up to $15 back.
You can buy 5 Choice Diabetic products and get $3 back on each. The box of 4 Choice Diabetic Neutrition bars is a $4.99 regular shelf price and if you have the $2 off any Choice coupons from (2nd week of Aug inserts?) that makes each one $2.99 + tax and you get $3 rebated so it's free. With 5 of the $2 coupons its possible to end up getting 5 free boxes after rebate.

I just noticed today that 5 was allowed instead of just one so I thought I'd mention it. Picked up my 5 today.

Oh..also open your boxes when you get them home. Inside some of the boxes is a pamphlet with a $1 off Choice coupon. 3 of my 5 boxes had the coupon in them. Also in that pamphlet is postage paid form to mail to ask for more coupons and a free sample.
