Halloween Markdowns at Walmart?
I just moved to a new neighborhood, and thankfully we were warned about Halloween here. We were expecting 250 kids, and we just barely fell short of that. (the next street over hit 325!)What I didn't expect is how the neighbors also give out little toys and stuff along with candy. I think the best thing to do is buy up after this Halloween for next year. Does anyone know the Halloween markdowns for Walmart?

I don't know the schedules but they should be at 50% today and by Wednesday 60% and so on every 2 days down by 10%. That is how ours is for every major holiday clearance. If there is something your eyeing get it now, it won't be there for very long.
Just a thought, do you have the safe storage to store candy for a year? I am sure some people do that, but in a bin or something to keep out critters, pets, kids, bugs and heat so it won't melt. |

Ours was 50% off today. Not much left at mine, though. Very few decorations and costumes. Mostly just candy. I didn't buy anything there and just headed to Target!

Looks like it all depends where you live. Ours probably had enough left over costumes to take care of NEXT year's Halloween for all the kids of our entire town. But they were low on candy. I was there at 4 in the morning and they already were out of all the major name brand chocolate candies. But if you want to try to keep them for next year I doubt the chocolate would hold up well anyways. Maybe try some hard candy, suckers or something. Also they had "Halloween" packs of crayons to give out. Maybe something like that would work?

Ours had tons of stuff yesterday. There were enough left over costumes to reoutfit a small army and all the good candy was still in stock.
