Just wanted to give everyone a head's up:

I was in Blockbuster today and they had a sign up about signing up for an AOL trial and getting a $100 Blockbuster GC (they'd mail it 2 weeks after sign up).

I don't have any other details on this, but it sounded like you have to get an AOL CD from the store to do this offer.

I am going to Blockbuster shortly to pick up my free shrek so I will ask about that offer, boy I can imagine what they will think of me "what a cheapskate".
UPDATE I was just reading on another site where someone took advantage of that 100$ deal 13 times using 13 different cc# isnt there morally something wron with that no wonder they pulled it!!

Guess I will have to go out to Blockbuster... I could have never done a code like that 13 times, I didn't even get in on 1 but would feel terrible doing that and trying to use the items as holiday gifts knowing how I ended up with them.. :P

I saw that on another site too where people were using 4 and up times on that offer. Problem with those one time use credit card numbers, it kills good offers like this for honest people.

I just want to see them when they try to cancel 14 different times and the reaction from AOL. I see a nastygram from AOL in their future

I felt lucky to get the gc once- but 13 times- that's not right! I had told a friend of mine who could have really used it + she didn't get in ~ before they pulled the offer. I think AOL should take the extra 12 gc's from that person that did it 13 times + give them to the people who were honest + did it once + haven't received it !!!! **** That's my opinion!!!!********

ok my bf signed up for the 100.00 aol deal and he got the letter everyone else did about saying it will take a week he went and checked and that letter is no longer in his mail has this happened to anyone else

I stopped and got the disk. It's a $100 Blockbuster card if you sign up for a year of AOL.

Okay this happened to me as well, i just thought maybe i deleted it or something.

I have been calling & calling on this several times a day. The last time in which was about 5 days ago, i got this real nice lady, she acted like she new exactly what i was talking about. She told me that they was still going through account to try to verify all of the ones who signed up more than one time. After they did that they was sending out to the ones who was eligible & who only signed up with 1 account. She said it could take up to 3-4 weeks or so. I for one am not holding my breath, but i am going to keep calling until i get mine.
