OT- Thomas the Train?
Does anyone have or know of any good deals on Thomas the Train stuff? I've tried E-bay and you really don't get much of a deal there. Thanks for any help!!!!

Are you looking for the die cast or wooden pieces? We have the wooden tracks and trains....eBay isn't much cheaper. I buy most of his items at rrgifts.com (Thats the licsened seller of the Thomas stuff). They usually have 10% off prices, a little cheaper than ToysRUs. Keep watching eBay,I've come across some really good deals there, esp. thru eBay stores-i got the turntable and roundhouse about half price a few months ago.

I think there may be a coupon in the Target catalog for some of the Thomas things. I don't think it's for much off maybe $5 - but if you had that and they had a sale - might not be too bad.

If you have a Michaels craft store near you check there. Some of them carry the Thomas line and when they do the weekly ad with the 40% coupon, you can really get some great deals!

If you have an independent toy store in your town, check there first. Even in our small town we have had one for years...car
ries better educational product than the average big box store. The reasons I would recommend local independent: 1. They will carry the better wooden stuff which has lifetime guarantee 2. Sign up for their info/club, etc...they will then let you know when those lines go on sale. Our local store even had a train club in which we got the 10th product free (average of other 9 prices). 3. Support local...keeps the $$$ in your economy 4. They will get to know your kid and can recommend/order specific items you might be looking for. |

Thanks Everyone!
:D Thank you for your suggestions!!! I greatly appreciate them. My son turns 4 on the 15th and absolutely loves Thomas. I've alreadt gotten him two playsets to go with the die cast trains and we already have some of the wooden. Once again, thanks!!

Thomas at Target
Check your Target store. They had Thomas Roundhouse set originally $79.99, scanning for 29.99, plus the $10.00 coupon.

In December's issue they have a coupon for a free engine (value up to $17.99) when you buy $25 or more of Thomas & Frinds Wooden Railway products. This seems like a great deal!
It's on page 46 Has anyone seen a great deal on the table? |
