Question Re: Little Gym???
We are taking our 3yr old DD to Little Gym for the 1st time next week. Do any of you know how much it costs? I hear it is spendy to go there on a regular basis but the lady on the phone seemed reluctant to tell me how much it would be. THis is a free trial visit. Any insight would be most helpful. Thanks!

My sister takes my almost two year old nephew to the little gym. I will say that he absoluely LOVES it and my sister and her husband enjoy it as well. They do a Saturday program every week and they allow make-ups during the week if you have plans and can't make it in on a paricular Saturday. In addition when he gets older they have this thing where you can drop the kids off in the evening for a few hours and mom and dad get to go out to dinner and I think that is part of the service for that age group. She is even having his birthday party there next month with another little boy who was born a week later that they are friends with the parents.
That being said I believe it is quite expensive. I gave my sister $50 towards a 6 month subscription for the holidays. I called (she is in MD and I am in NY) to see if I could buy her several sessions and I don't remember the price but I remember being shocked. It is cheaper to buy the subscription . . . I just called my sister and she said in MD it is $350 for the January to about May session. I hope this helps. Maddy |

I have a friend who has her son in Little Gym. She said it is $175.00 for a 10 wk session (1 hr class) with 3 make-ups allowed per session.

Our local YMCA Gymnastics Group has a similar class they offer 2 days a week. It is pay-as-you-go and is $4 per session if you are not a member and $2.50 if you are.
This is a supervised "Open Gym" class for little toddlers. They also have a Mommy and Me class if you must have more structure. You might check into your local Y. |
