Puppy food for guide dog puppy

My daughter will be raising a guide dog puppy for the next 14+ months. We will need to purchase high quality puppy food (Eukanuba, Science Diet, etc) for a large breed puppy. Any ideas on where to get this at a good price, it is very expensive. I will be calling companies for coupons. Thanks!

Target had a $4.00 off Iams 40lb bag. Iams have coupons on their site for $3.00 and free savory sauce and free pouch of food. Sometimes you can find a sale now that discount stores are selling Iams. The best thing to do is buy the larger bag. Good luck with the puppy, that's a great thing to do.

A family member of mine works for a major petfood manufacturer - every year we get a HUGE book of coupons of $1 off, $2 off, and FREE coupons for dog & cat food, litter and treats (LOL they even have training litter boxes for dogs) - PM me with your address and the dog/cat food you use and your address and I will send some to you. Others who are interested with other worthy causes/stories can also PM me

We have a Chocolate Lab and fed Maxy Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed Puppy. He has dry skin and we initally fed him Puppy Chow but the Nutro made a dramatic improvement in his coat. If you join their frequent buyer program they'll send you coupons for $1-$2 off Nutro products. The link is http://www.nutroproducts.com/fbpnutroReg.asp
You can't buy Nutro at "regular" stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) but it is available at Petsmart and most pet stores. But that's just my 2 cents

I'm another fan of Nutro Natural Choice dog food.....Yes, each bag costs a little more, but well worth it. It doesn't contain any "fillers" such as corn that a lot of brands include, so you actually feed the dog less, and it works out to about the same cost wise in the end. I have arescue Newfoundland that had a missing hair in places and horrible body odor, but the lamb and rice formula agrees withhim great! They are fairly quick about mailing the coupons once you request them off of the website and the frequent buyer program is a plus!
