Walmart usually has it for $15.88 for the first week, that and Costco are usually the best bets

I found Wal*Mart to have the cheapest price at $14.87 for the DVD. The VHS tape is $21.24 - last I knew the VHS tapes were cheaper than the DVD - but this appears to be the norm with this movie everywhere I have looked.

Here is a summary of the deals posted on another board:

Look inside todays newspaper for a $3 DVD gift card good for Shark Tale DVD. It's more like a coupon, and expires 2/21/05. I heard the gift card is in Peoples magazine too. Also, there is a $3 Shrek 2 gift card right next to the Shark Tales gift card. It expires 3/6/05.

Walmart - $14.97 - $3 GC = $11.97 plus you get a free special editon cd.<credit to Suebay for that info> (Best price by 3cents so far!!!)

Toys R Us - $14.99 - $3 gift card = 11.99 <credit to jmlsocha for that info>

Meijers - $14.99 - $3GC (if available in that area???) = $11.99 <credit goes to DawnieDawnie for the info>

Target - 15.99 - $3 = 12.99, comes with free bubble watch.
Also, on the package there is a coupon. It states: Save $3 Now! When you buy the Shark Tale DVD Plus One of these DVDs: Shrek, Shrek 2 or Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I only priced Shrek 2 for this, since I had the other gift card for it. Here is the cost:
Shark Tale DVD $15.99
Shrek 2 $19.99
= 35.89
- Shark Tale GC $3.00
- Shrek 2 DVD GC
- combined purchase coupon $3.00
total= $26.98 or $13.49 each.

Best Buy - 15.99 - $3 = 12.99. They have a deal that if you buy Shark Tale, you can get Shrek for $6. Not sure if you can use it for
Shrek 2, but if you can , you can get both for about $16.00.

KMart does not list price, but they offer free 8oz Hot Tamles or Mike and Ike candy with purchase. .

Circuit City lists it as "low price" but you get a free lithograph with purchase (5.99 value) They also have a promotion that if you buy Shark Tale & Shrek, you can save $3. Instore only, and must be purchased on same receipt.

Toys R us for $14.99 before the coupon

Target was $15.99 with a free bubble watch and it had a $3.00 coupon if you bought Shrek 2 or Spirit (which was $9.99). Unfortunately we had no coupon in yesterday's paper.

RAOK coupon

CeeCee if you are in need of a coupon. I have one I could send to you. I also have the Shrek coupon, but I already have Shrek. Please let me know that way I can send it on to someone else if you don't need it. Thanks, Lori

I bought mine at Walmart for 14.87. The one with the Party cd is 19.99. I couldn't find the darn coupon I searched and searched through the paper with no luck!

I just bought mine at CVS. They have it for $19.99 plus $3 off (through today with CVS card) plus they had a $3 off $10.00 purchase coupon in last Sunday's flyer (good through today). So I got it for $13.99 plus I had a transferred Rx and they had a free $25gc coupon in last Sunday's paper. So I got that and some other stuff totally free. I was a happy camper.
