I was not sure where to put this, but I always like to send a reminder out to people that if you live by a NASCAR race, this is the ultimate in FREEBIES!

For those of you that are not fans, each car has an extensive list of sponsors. Almost everyone of these sponsors has a booth at a NASCAR race. Most of these "FAN AREAS" are free and open to the public. You do not need a ticket to get into most of these areas.

Most of these events are at full speed starting on Thursday and goes through the race on Sat. or Sunday.

Some of the things that we have received attending races (this was all from one race...2 people) 2 pair of Carhart jeans, 12 t-shirts, countless pens and pencils, 7 can coozies, racing trading cards, 2 music cds, 1 pc game, fun kodak pictures of ourselves, 2 small racing helments, a flashlight, a 1/24 scale autographed car (my husband got his hair done from Just for Men for this one) and those are just the highlights.

Some of these things you may have to sign up for a credit card (helmets) or get your hair done by as my husband put it "attractive girls", or for the jeans, you had to screw in 5 drywall screws, but these little games are well worth it for us.

If you go onto www.nascar.com, you can look at the schedule to see if there are any that are near you. Take a backpack or someother kind of bag so you can load up.

WOW! Thanks we are going to the truck race, busch race and the Daytona 500, so I'll be looking!!
