ISO Coupons for Haircut

My 11 year-old daughter has the longest hair and has decided to cut just a few inches off. The last time I took her to a mall salon (thinking it would be the cheapest!!HAH!!) It cost about $30 just to get an inch cut off. I don't even pay that much for my own hair!

I've been searching the net for some coupons, but I can't seem to find any.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks!

Great Clips is running a $5.99 haircut special through next weekend. It's perfect for my long-haired 12 year old when she needs a trim.

Check their website for a location near you.

I believe it's a national promotion, because I've heard it on the radio. best thing to do would be to call the closest one.

I've just had 3 haircuts for all three of my girls for $6 a head.

Good luck.

I did a search for the zip code 18411 (your profile says Clarks Summit, PA) and found Super Cuts a few in your area. It is hit or miss with the sytlists but they are usually priced less than a traditional salon.

SUPERCUTS - EASTON
25TH ST SHOPPING CTR
EASTON, PA 18045-8045
(610) 250-8770

SUPERCUTS - ALLENTOWN
3331 HAMILTON BLVD
ALLENTOWN, PA 18103-8103
(610) 439-3012

SUPERCUTS - ALLENTOWN
1922 CATASAUQUA RD, STE A
ALLENTOWN, PA 18109-8109
(610) 266-7550

Sign up at their website for a "Hair Alert" (http://www.supercuts.com/reminder.cfm) and get a $2 Supercuts coupon good on any adult haircut. With every Haircut Alert after that, you'll get a $1 coupon.

Another option is Lemon Tree. There are only 2 in PA but I checked and the one in Westfall seems to be about 20 miles from you . . .

Westfall (570) 491-2214

It would probably be a drive for you but they have a printable coupon on their website for a $7 haircut ($5 additional to blow out). It does say long hair extra but it would still probably be less than $30:

There is also a hair salon in the JCPenneys in the Scranton Mall. You might want to call them for a price . . . I have no idea how they run on price. (570) 346-8401.

Good luck.

Thank you!!

You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for looking for that info. Unfortunately, my daughter doesn't want to cut anymore than 3" off her hair just yet. Eventually she said she will donate it to Locks of Love. (It's such an great program.)

Most of those salons (Supercuts) aren't in my area, but I am going to call JCP salon to check their prices.

Thanks again!!

Another option: If there is a cosmetology school (or a vocational school with a cosmetology department), the students cut hair at really low prices. I worked with a high-school aged girl last year who was part of one of these programs. They have been trained, and they do a great job, but since they're still working towards a license, you get it at a lower price! Just FYI.

That's a great idea. I thought of that when I looked up JCP's phone #. I found one nearby. I'm going to give them a call next week.

Thanks again!
