Does Costco take retail checks?
So, I know Costco will not take coupons except for their own. How about retail checks? I am referring to those checks for baby formula like Enfamil and Similac that Costco carries. They are precessed like regular checks at the other stores so I figured they might accept those. Has anyone used those there before?
Also, at the grocery store can I use a retail check and a coupon on the same product? I have a catalina for $4.50 off enfamil and those retail checks mentioned above. TIA |

I tried this for the first time at BJs yesterday and had no problems but they do in fact take coupons. The cashier looked at it a little strangely but I explained that it was entered as a form of tender as it was a check and not a coupon and she put it in with no problems.
My neighbor goes to Costco and has said she uses the formula checks there with very few problems as again they are not coupons . . . Sometimes the cashier thinks they are coupons but a manager or lead cashier should be able to help you. As for the coupon and the check I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use both but I would be prepared for someone to tell you that you can't so you can make the argument calmly and attempt to explain the difference to people who might just want to say no . . . Goodluck. Maddy |
