Question About Ebay And Coupons?
I have been looking through ebay and was thinking maybe I should be bidding and trying to get my coupons there. Not sure if it is a smart thing to do or if I will end up getting scammed out of the deal. Anyone here have any experience with ebay and buying coupons? TIA

Depending on what coupons you're looking for, first do a search in eBay Stores that have Buy It Now prices - I usually find them cheaper there (mostly SmartSource/Valassis coupons from Sunday's papers). Be sure to check out what they're charging for shipping before you bid!!! If you're bidding on wine tags or other popular coupies, most of the eBay pros use sniping tools such as eSnipe (several others out there) to put the bid in seconds before it closes. If you put a bid in longer than a minute before it closes, you can probably kiss that auction bye-bye (plus you're popping up the bid which the sellers just love!), cuz someone will snipe it. More info on that might be found for ya in the eBay forum.
Otherwise keep lurking coupon services such as thecouponclippers or other coupon trading forums online for deals...lots of options out there to get them without paying an outrageous amount.

Ok, I will be the first to admit I get my coupons alot of times this way. Especially if someone has coupons for a item that I use alot of all the time, and its not going to expire any time soon. I have never had a problem with anyone, so maybe I am lucky but I have been an ebayer since "98". The only advise I can give is to check someones feedback before bidding on any item. Good luck, hope this helps.
