New Virgin Mobile prepay pricing offer
Not sure if this is the right board for this or not but what the heck, I bought my phone in a brick and mortar store and I buy the refill cards at Target so here goes......
Previously, the virgin mobile prepay deal was 25 cents per minute for the first 10 minutes of each day, then 10 cents a minute after that for the rest of the day. This was not a good plan for me because I often only use a few minutes per day and thus end up paying 25 cents a min most of the time. Now, they have a new deal where you can get 10 cents a min all the time but just pay a daily fee of 35 cents for it. I saw this info at Target in the Virgin mobile new phone area but checked the website www.virginmobileusa.com and logged in and was able to find the deal and get switched. Hope this helps someone else. For me this means if I use 10 min a day I'm spending $1.35 instead of $2.50 which really ads up! Jen |

FYI - according to the last sentence from their website, you will pay 35¢ DAILY, not just when you make a call. Not a good deal if you only use the phone occasionally like me - a good deal if you use it daily.
Q. What is this new offer from Virgin Mobile? A. With our standard offer, calls cost 25¢ per minute for the first ten minutes you talk in a day, then just 10 per minute after that. With this new offer, you get 10¢ minutes all the time for just 35¢ a day. So, a 20-minute call at the beginning of the day that would have cost you $3.50 on Virgin Mobile's standard service would cost only $2.00 plus the 35¢ daily fee with the new offer. Sweet. The 35¢ fee will be charged to your account daily, but you can cancel anytime and switch to our standard 10 cent minutes after ten minutes pricing. |
