Question about Walgreens rebate - YDF - Your Daily Freebies Forum - Coupon Codes

I've only started doing the Walgreens rebate and didn't have any problems, until the June EasySaver. In addition to the FAR items, I bought $20 in Olay items for the 10.00 GC and I also bought the $15 selected items for the bag with all the samples. Well, I got my GC, but it said in the letter that I bought the incorrect quantities and then wrong size/wrong product. I did use coupons. Do they only count the actual amount you spend after redeeming the coupon? And-stupid me- I did not make a copy of my reciept. Am I out of luck? Just thought I'd ask for advice from you before I call. Thanks!

Nope, coupons used don't count. They're notorious for goof ups so copies of everything are unfortunately a requirement. Best to give them a call and go from there. Good luck!!

I've never had a problem with them either until the June rebate. I also purchased the Olay products and didn't get my $10 rebate. I also am learning the hard way since I didn't make copies either. Well you can guarantee I will be making copies of ALL my receipts from now on!!!!!

They've made a few mistakes on mine - very small mistakes which are a few dollars here-and-there. I photocopy everything, but they've never asked me for the photo copies when I've called about errors that I've caught. I was impressed that they fixed them in about a week.

The only time that I had to fax a photocopy was when they never recieved my submission in the mail.

PS - if you are new, I'll mention that you can track your rebate status on their website.

I bought the $20 of olay for the $10 gift card too. When I got my rebate it wasn't on there so I called them. They said it will arrive within 12 days of getting the rebate. If it doesn't come, at least I photocopied the receipt.

Just an update, I called Walgreens about my little rebate issue and the lady was really polite and apologized for the inconvenience- apparently they just didn't count one of my receipts (they must have them in the system somehow) but I should be receiving my gift card and bag of samples within 14 days. I was really pleased with their customer service.

I'm sure I'll be photocopying a lot more from now on though!
