Thumbs up August Shopping Brags

Since there is no thread started, I figured I would start.

Walmart:

Trial size of Dove moisturizing shampoo-Free (w/1.00 off coupon from mail)

Edy's light ice cream=2.18 (after 1.00 off sunday paper coup)

eight hallmark cards= 3.30 (after four bogo one free coupons from magazines)

Two white rain products=.82 (after 1.00 off coupon from sunday paper)

Carefree pantiliners=.47 (after .50 SP coupon)

Kleenex three pack purse size kleenex: .43 (after .55 cent coupon)

Hunts Ketchup-.62 cents (after .30 cent SP coupon)

Prego thick and meaty spaghetti sauce: 2.25 (orginally 2.35)

grand total: 31.80 (I had to get a few other things too-they were not clearance or coupon savers)
Total saved from coupons: 7.08
total from clearance. .20 cents (lol)
grand total after coupons: 24.72

Walgreens:

Encore seasonings: 3 for .99 (store coupon)
Shlick quatro razor blades: 5.99 after coupon
shlick quarto razor blades: 2.99 after coupon and walgreens rebate (3.00)
Freezie water bottle: .99 (org 3.79) (clearance)
Bubble mailers: 6 @.36 each (walgreens coupon)
Always maxi pads: 2 for 10.00 (special) - get a free ten dollar gift card after I send in the form and reciept to easy saver program
plus one free box of pads (sunday paper)
bic lighters: 3 packs for 2.69, second pack free (store coupon)

Total: 38.98 (I had other things too but they were not clearance or coupon items)
- walgreens coupons: 7.32
- manufacturer coupons: 11.74
-rebate/gc's from walgreens: 13.00

6.92 spent after I get rebates and gift cards from easy saver.

Picture Frame- $1.06 The frame was originally $9.99

(8) BOGO Whole Chickens - average price was $6.00 - 1/1x2 = $2.00 a chicken....stuffed my freezer with these babies

(14) Kellogg's cereal 2.00/box - 1/1 = $1.00 a box

(6) Dannon Frusions - 1.00/each - 1/2 = .50/each

Just ran into walgreens today to pick up meds. Nothing too exciting today

Freezeable mugs: .50 cents for two of them
Dove cookies: 2.00-1.00 sun paper coupon=1.00 (would of bought a second box, but I want to try these first!)

Total: 2.00 (not with the cost of the prescription of course)

Went to Kroger on 8/3 and this is how I did:

(Far too many items to list them individually!)
Got items totaling............................. $121.43
Coupon Savings..................................- 53.74
Kroger Gets you Ready credit.............- 20.00
Kroger GC from Prescription transfer..- 20.00

Total...................................................$ 27.69!!!!

(20) containers of tictacs (2 for $1)


I used the following coupons:
(6) 0.75/1 Quaker granola bars
(4) 0.75/1 Quaker bites
(2) free milk wyb 5 quaker/trop products
(10) 0.55/2 tictacs
(1) $6 off next order catalina

Grand total = 0.17

Scrubbing Bubbles Cleaner - on sale $2.79, used BOGO coupon - got them for $1.39 each

Whisker Lickin's Cat Treat (for my ferret) - on sale $1.00 each, used B2G1F, the cashier accidentally took off the regular price ($1.40), so I ended up getting all 3 for $1.60 (about 53 cents each).

Broccoli Salad Kit (Fresh Express I think was the brand) - (regular price $3.98) on sale for $1.99, used 75/1 coupon, doubled, paid 49 cents

Fibershake starter kit - on sale $3.99, used $2/1 coupon, paid $1.99, plus I'll send for the rebate and get $3.99 back (overage of $2)

2 Suave Shampoo/Conditioner - 99 cents, used 50/1 coupons for each, got them FREE

Coffeemate 1/2 & 1/2 - on sale $1.50, used 75/1 coupon, got it FREE

Splenda - 3.8 oz package - regular price $3.92, used 55/1 coupon, doubled, paid $2.82

Plus used Giant Eagle $5 off order coupon.

2 Dr. pepper 2L used free wyb gum coupons
2 pentel mechanical pencils with bonus leads $1.29 used buy 2 gum get $1 off pentel
3 scotch magic tape wal and man coupons
total $1.03 (tax was $.45)...used gift card from previous rebates!
