I just came back from Chicago. We went to the 96th floor to the Lounge and bought a beer for $7.00. It is lots cheaper than paying for the Observatory which is only on the 95th floor. The views from the lounge are incredible. Believe it or not, the view from the ladies room at the lounge were the best. That's where I took all my pics from.

A family could go and order sodas and come out ahead!

My husband and I also visited the lounge as well (no fee to enter). We sat and had a drink...I have to say, even the view from the Women's Bathroom on that floor is absolutely incredible...I have never seen an incredible BATHROOM view from anywhere!!

What is so funny is there is no window in the men's room there!
And I don't ever remember seeing a window in a Ladies Room before. As you know, almost one wall of the bathroom was window! Amazing!

I would recommend that too-go to signature room and order sodas.

also an another tip is to dine the signature room at lunchtime. They have a fanatastic buffet for under 20.00 per person. this is a deal considering it's in chicago. it is an all you can eat buffet. This is not the lunch buffet that you want to take your kids to. here is the info:

THE SIGNATURE BUFFET
Served Monday through Saturday (you must dress in causal business attire-no sneakers or t-shirts)

Children (12 & Under) 10.00 • Adults 18.00

Featuring a Signature carving selection, seafood specialties, poultry selections, creative side dishes, and gourmet salad buffet with a variety of dressing and garnishes, and homemade soups.

So your best bet is to go to sig room and order sodas.
