OT -- Pink M&M's
I'm in search of pink M&M's -- plain not peanut. Hershey sent out an email several weeks ago saying that they would be available at Target, Walgreens, and a variety of other stores. My daughter's first birthday party is rapidly approaching -- and they would be perfect. All I've been able to find is a few bags of the peanut variety at Target -- and they don't work too well as favors. I'm about to break down and pay $$$$ online to have them shipped, but before I do, I'm wondering if I should continue the search. Has anyone seen them anywhere? BTW I live in CT, but I'd be interested in any sightings -- just to see if they are in stores yet.
TIA!!! |

I am not sure if you can find them now. I wonder if it's an another red dye scare going on (remember that? it happened a long time ago). I am sure that you would be able to find some during valentine's...but I know that you can't wait that long....did you try ebay?

They're supposed to be for a Breast Cancer fundraiser.
Here's the link: http://www.brightideas.com/school/sgk.jsp Supposedly, they're available in stores during September, October, and November -- but I've only been able to find the plain ones on the M&M's website for big $$$$ plus big shipping $$$$. Thanks for the response. Maybe I will check out ebay. Last edited by ClaireF; 09-26-2005 at 07:03 PM. |

Specialty Candy Stores
I don't know about pink, but those specialty candy stores that are in malls might have them. They always have bins of single color M&M's - (and tons of other candies too!). You pay by weight.

I saw them yesterday at Linens N Things. They had a display with all kinds of pink items on it for breast cancer and they had plain ones there.

They have them at my Target too in Tennessee. If you can't find them and really want all pink, you can always go to the M&M's store website and order them. They ship on dry ice so they don't melt

Thank you! I will check Target and Walmart again and we do have a Linens N Things nearby -- I would never have thought to look there!
I wish I had a Kroger's -- what a great deal for a birthday, but the nearest over 100 miles away. Thank you!

Maybe you could call or email M&M/Mars and ask them which stores in your area carry the pink ones. (They do have them in some stores in honor of Breast cancer awareness month, which is October.
