Hi! I cant remember everything I did when I was that young, but i do remember that my mom washed out a latex glove (or plastic glove) then filled it back up with water and froze it. After that she pulled the glove off and use the ice hand as an ice cube for a bowl of punch. I really thought it was cool then lol

I remember parties as a kid where there were all sorts of creepy things blindfolded kids would stick their hands in and try to guess what it was (spaghetti was "brains", olives were "eyeballs")
Also, I've gotten good party ideas in the past from Family Fun's website. Check out their Halloween party ideas! http://www.familyfun.go.com/parties/...en_ms_parties/ |

We roast hotdogs and smores on our firepit. I also throw a bunch of spider rings in the yard and the kid who finds the most win a prize (you would be surprised how even older kids like this), I also make a scavenger hunt list and send the kids either in the yard (for younger ones) or through the neighborhood to search for items. They have a time limit and the person or team with the most wins a prize. Hope that helps.

Going to your local dollar store, Dollar Tree ,,,etc., will help you find a lot of Halloween goodies to put in good bags for the kids.

One of my neighbors has a Halloween party every year. We all have kids small through teen. What was a big hit one year was their scary tunnel! She went to an appliance store and brought home big, free, appliance boxes a few at a time. Then she taped them all together using duct tape into a tunnel. Inside she had her kids paint scary stuff with black light paints. Then in a couple of places she put in black lights (just cut a hole there and stuck it in). There was one section that had rubber gloves full of sand or something that were all stapled to the sides. Oh, and one box had a strobe light with a big rubber rat and a bloody fake hand in it. It was very cool and relatively inexpensive to make. The kids absolutely loved it... and a few adults too.
