Is there some where that lists the actual stores? I live in Columbus, OH, but there are several stores throughout town...

Toys 'R Us Closing Stores

Arlington Heights, IL store was 10 to 30% off entire store on Saturday. Men with carboard signs were posted on street corners within a mile of the store. No returns. Cash and Credit Cards only. They use a black marker on the UPC code after they scan it.

Unhappy

I'm SO Sad!!!

I loved our Toys R US (the Duluth, MN one)... I actually found out today that ours was closing just by driving by on my way to Starbucks... Of course I had to stop and check out the deals, which really aren't that great yet. Here's what ours are (what I could remember):
10% off all video games reg or sale priced
30% off all video game accessories (got some more gameboy advance sp chargers... I don't know where ours keep going to!)
10% off bikes and all baby stuff
20% off all stuffed animals
10% off barbies and babies and board games
20% off books and crayola products

She said ours closes February 28th. The day after Thanksgiving shopping will be so boring for me now!!

Also... besides not taking checks, they are also not honoring any coupons or ad sale prices.

Add Battle Creek, MI to your list. They just closed KB a few years ago cause they couldn't compete with TRU

Dubuque, IA and Madison , WI are also closing. I just got xmas wrapping paper for anywhere from .08 cents to .035 cents a roll. I guess they are cutting stores that didn't generate sales of 5 million or more a year , suppose to be more stores next year.

This is really strange. We were in the one in our town and the one in the town just north of us and there are no signs and nothing has been in the local paper.
I will have to let dh know.

I just checked the list again and the other one in our area is also on the list.
There will be no TRU's around within 40 min drive if not more.
I am going to call one of my daycare parents who works there part time. See what he knows about the closing.

I am not from wis, but I have a good friend that lives in Fond Du Lac.
She says that the one in FDL, Wi is closing too.
you might as well add that one to your list
