Free Movie for Teachers
AMC Entertainment and Lionsgate Theatrical Films really want teachers to see the spelling bee movie "Akeelah and the Bee."
So much so, the theater chain and the movie studio are offering any teacher a free ticket to the movie this weekend. AMC Entertainment said Wednesday that any teacher presenting valid school identification or a pay stub at one of its U.S. theaters can see "Akeelah and the Bee" for free. I just sent my mom and sis (She is a 3rd grade teacher) and my sis works at a preschool - They went to 1 o'clock showing!
