Not a freebie, but still a good deal (if you are unable to get it for free)
I spotted at the gas station copies of "In touch" and "life and style" magazine for a quarter each. (these are the May 29th, 2006 issues). you may want to call like places such walgreens, etc before you go over there to pick them up. Not a freebie, but it's a pretty good deal if you love to read magazines.

this is a good deal
 I picked up in touch from target and they charged me 23 cents.
