Yeah, they're for building a watering system; specifically for gardens/flowerbeds. They're not the pop-up type, they work better (Than their comparatively-priced pop-ups) and a hell of a lot more durable and better investment long-term than pop-ups for this application. Cheaper too usually (which means cheaper when someone/you kick them off/snap them/etc)
