Do you have trouble getting stores to accept printed coupons?
Went to Kroger yesterday with a coupon I had printed off the internet. The checker told me "we don't accept printed coupons". I said fine, and told her I didn't want the item I had the coupon for.
How often does this happen to you? Do you think it's store policy, corporate policy, or just a turdy cashier? What good are these coupons if we can't use them? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks. |

My Kroger has a big sign when you walk into the store stating they will not take Internet coupons although they do double regular coupons.

I honestly have never had a problem with a store accepting my printed coupons. Walmart takes the all the time and so do the grocery stores around here.......have even had a convience store take them like Quick Trip. Maybe it was a turdy cashier as you put it.

I have found most stores here will not accept them - I think I got Walgreens to accept one once...I think this all came about because of some free coupons that were printed off the internet were eventually refused by the manufacturer and stores don't want to get stung again...I've told myself that everytime I get offered an internet coupon, I am going to write to the manufacturer and tell them thanx but it does me absolutely no good...perhaps if enough of us write something may change.

I haven't found a store that takes them for at least two years.

The Walmarts in my area take them as long as the coupons don't say "do not duplicate" on them and they have the address for compensation on them.

Our Kroger, Wal-mart, and K-mart all take them. I have never had a problem at all.
