Help finding shoes...cheap!
I'm going to be in need of a "nice" pair of shoes in the next week or so. My friend's mother is very sick, and they don't expect her to make it through the week. I live in jeans and shorts, so all I have is sandals, tennies and comfy shoes for around the house. I've got black pants and grey pants, and can probably borrow a top from my daughter, so the clothes are covered. I could probably get away with some fairly dressy sandals, but I don't know where to start looking! I'm on such a tight budget and my usual stores are consignment shops, etc. Can anyone tell me what stores might still have some stuff on clearance, so I don't have to drive all over town to check it out? I live in the Dayton, Ohio area, if that helps any. Thanks in advance!
Sorry if I rambled! |

If you have a Payless around, I would start there. They have a large variety and low prices.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably try to get to a Payless or two today. Don't have a Nordstrom's, though. But my daughter mentioned Kohl's. They usually have a good clearance area in their shoe dept.
As for Graeter's...I used to stop their whenever I was in Cincy (and being "xufan" means I was there a lot!). But, now we have several locations around here. The newest one (Beavercreek) is close to my house! |
