I went to staples today and asked if they had more of the teacher bags (i am not a teacher) they did and gave me one.

p.s. they have this advertisment piece of junk in the bag but at the bottom is a test drive for a saturn and you get a $35 staples gift card.

Teacher bags are (usually) handed out to teachers at the store on a given day for Teacher Appreciation. It's a tote filled with samples of things to use in the classroom since we spend SO much out of pocket. The contents vary from store to store and city to city. Mine did not have the test drive offer, but had coupons for local eateries. Mostly it's just random pens, markers, etc.

My husband is a teacher and I work for a college. We went to several stores in our area on teacher appreciation day. Some of the bags had the test drive and others did not. In the small print it does say that you need to show teaching credentials to be eligable for the test drive.

I do not know if they will enforce this or not. Limit one per household.

Boy do I wish there was a Staples here. I don't think that there is one in the whole state. I yearn (big teacher word LOL) for all the good deals and freebies Staples has.
