OT: ISO Boys Pants/Jeans without button...

A little off topic here but does anyone know where I may be able to find boys pants or jeans WITHOUT the button closure - Snap, slide in thingy, anything but a button. Would be looking for husky sizes also, like 8 or 10 Husky.

My son for some reason just cannot get it, and he struggles to suck in his stomach and try to button. I can't find them anywhere, I've checked Target, Walmart, Sears, Penneys, & Kohls

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I'm also posting this in the Online Deals Forum - because whether its the actual store on online, doesnt matter to me.

Thanks!

I buy my son pull on soft canvas cargo pants and courdoroys from the childrens place online. They have elastic waist and fit him best, and they last pretty well. Usually able to use a coupon and get free shipping if you can hit it right.

I have found tham at sears in the Landsend section and also at the GAp, certainly not much of a $Bargain but considering that they do hold up extremely well and can be passed on to the next in line, worth it to know my little husky is not walking around with his pants undone all day!

** for some reason mine cannot figure out the button thing either.

I have a thin child, and he has trouble with buttons too. In fact, I bought him 3 new pair of jeans for school, and he has only worn one pair one time. He just loves wearing shorts. DH hated jeans as a child too.

For the button on jeans, I always take a knife and expand the hole the button goes into. It does not ruin the jeans, as the fabric is pretty thick. But it does make it easier to get the button into the hole.

This hint was recommended to me years ago on another board. And I have been doing it ever since.

Thank you everyone for your advice!!

I ended up finding him some jeans on sale this weekend at Gap Kids - on sale for $14.99 (no way was I going to spend $30, wow!) THey fit him great and have the slide clasp.

Mountainfalls, expanding the hole, what a great idea, and so simple!! Going to do that with the jeans we already have, thank you!!
