I know it's early but...FREE Comic Book Day is May 5, 2007!
Can't wait to visit the comic books stores in our area to load up
We missed it last year, but made a fun day of it the year before...http://www.freecomicbookday.com/ |

We went to three different ones today and got so many free ones. There were no lines at any of them. The first one, we were the only ones there. We could have picked one each of all they had(about 20). Dh, ds and I each got just the ones we thought we would like(mine are for the daycare kids and ds's friend). One place had the bag already filled(one for kids, one for older "kids" like dh) and you got to add four if you picked the kids and three if you picked the other. The last place there was no limit, just pick what you wanted.
We also bought a bunch at the first place. 10 for $1!!! That should give ds something to read for a little while if I can get him to read them. When we went last year we only went to one place(we didn't know these other places existed) and only got four each. They also gave out posters and little action figure guys too. We had a fun day. |
