Please Help, Cannot Print Coupons - YDF - Your Daily Freebies Forum - Coupon Codes

I've been printing coupons at all the sites for years but suddenly something is wrong. When I logged into smartsource, said I needed to install coupon printer. That seemed odd since it was already installed but I did it anyway. Now the coupon printer, although under installed programs in control panel, is not detected by the coupon websites and they keep directing me to "install coupon printer. I have removed the program and reinstalled several times. cleared all cookies, files, history, etc. I've done everything I can think of to fix this, none of my coupon sites will recognize the printer as installed. There were no changes to my PC before this malfunction occurred. I'm so frustrated... can anyone shed light on this bizarre situation??? H E L P!!

I recently had a similar problem when I was installing a coupon printer thingy ( I think at smartsource.) and it just kept going round and round and I couldn't print, kept being told to install it. I gave up and tried again a few nights later and was able to install it and print at that same site. Have you gotten it to work by now?

I'M STILL NOT ABLE TO PRINT AT SMARTSOURCE OR BOODLE. I THINK THEY USE THE SAME COUPON PRINTER.. LIKE YOU, I'M GOING ROUND AND ROUND, TODAY THE INSTALL APPEARED TO BE SUCCESSFUL, SAID MY COUPONS WERE PRINTING, BUT THEN THEY DID NOT PRINT OUT. JUST MORE OF THE SAME PROBLEM, IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING. I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN NEXT. I'VE TRIED NUMEROUS SUGGESTIONS. I CAN PRINT THE BRIX COUPONS, THOSE ARE WORKING FINE. THERE IS NOT EVEN A CONTACT ON SMARTSOURCE WEBSITE TO HELP. GUESS I JUST HAVE TO GIVE IT UP FOR NOW..

ANY OTHER SUGGGESTIONS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Sorry for all caps, I work from home in all caps and forgot to change it...

Ok, I had the same trouble a few days ago. I went to the same sites I always do but couldnt print. It told me that I needed to download the upgraded coupon printer to my computer. No problem right? Well I did that and nada.....nothing... no coupons for me. This is what I did.... but I dont know if I suggest it for anyone else..... Ok, first I have Microsoft XP for my computer. So I decided to upgrade THAT to Microsoft XP Service pack 2. After that was done ( it takes a long time!!) I was able to download the updated coupon printer with no problem, and tada ..... coupons for me. So......... the only thing I can say to you is to maybe look at the operating system you are using and see if that needs upgraded too. Dont know if that is what helped me or not but I dont care ... I just wanted it to work

Finally I've found a link for help from SmartSource... I emailed explaining the problem, hopefully they'll have an answer. Here is link if anyone else wants to ask them questions. I'll post whatever replies I receive from them. Thanks to all for your input. After trying everything, I'm still stuck.. but perservering!!

I dont' know if this will help anyone...But all year I havn't been able to print anything that came from that Brick website for coupons, which alot of them do. My son downloaded Firefox the other day so tonight after another failure at getting a 'Brick' related coupon, I opened up the Firefox browser, it came immediately up, allowed me to quickly download the software needed, and printed my coupon. Maybe it's the browser you're using ? Worked for me.

I wasn't able to print coupons either.

Then I got a new computer and I was very happy to be able to print them again.

After about 2 months they stopped printing on my new computer.

I sure would like to know why???

Could it be Zonealarm or AVG stopping it?

I don't know what's going on but I know alot of people are having trouble now printing the coupons. I have AOL and couldn't print coupons and still can't using AOL.

I minimized AOL and opened Internet Explorer and now can print the coupons. I have to do this everytime now but at least I can print the coupons now. HTH

I did not receive a reply from coupons.com to my inquiry about our printing problems.

On my pc Windows and McAffee update automatically, I'm wondering if one of those updates is the problem as one day I could print, the next I couldn't. I've even tried disabling my virus program while I reinstalled the coupon printer but it still did not work. I can install it successfully but it is not recognized when I try to print. It is shown installed in add/remove programs. I've removed/installed several times. Still going round and round.

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone figures this out, please keep us posted!
