i am entering the item numbers and it is saying that they are invalid. is there a section on the site where the penny items are located?

Specials are only valid in-store, not on the web site. Also, the pencils are limit 3 "per household" while the other items are "per customer".

This is a teacher's dream come true

... if you know a teacher, stop by Staples and pick up some of these goodies! For less than a dollar ... pencils, folders, pencil cases, sharpeners and glue ... you can make a teacher very happy!

As a teacher, I have emailed all my friends and family asking them to do this for me!

There were so many people there but the line moved fairly fast.

We went this morning. It was a zoo. The sale is only until Wednesday and I know the staff in the store. They told me they had more stock in storage and would refill tonight.

We were also told that teachers who have valid ID are not held to the limits. This is good news for my husband who teaches special education for the city of NY

I just always think it is funny . . . Summer school only started last week but the back to school sales are starting up with a bang. We still have some glue from last year

I guess I was lucky - no queues at my staples - lots of stock (except the pencil cases). I only picked up a couple of the items I will use (no kids here - and no teachers I know) - but the FAR Pentel RSVP® ballpoint pens were a good item for me.
The Staples Easy Rebate - submit online - is such an a good program - no postage, no need to keep copies, track online - I wish Walgreens would switch to a system like this.
