CVS Scores - again

Explain to me how they make money?

Just went to CVS and got:
1 pack AA batteries, 1 Bag Halls drops, 1 J&J baby shampoo, 2 packs fothe Trident 8-pack gum, 2 bags of pretzels, 1 can of consort hair spray, 1 Tylenol JR. Meltaways, and 1 pack of M&Ms.

I sed a $4 off $20, $3 off $15, $2 off $10, $5 off batteries, $2 off J&J product, $1 off Halls, $1 off peelie from Energizer, and a $5 off Tylenol products from their website . ..

Total Cost $0.00 . . . . Total saving from order $28.22 . . . nothing out of pocket, then another $5 off $20 on receipt . . . .

My wife was amazed, and she thinks I'm nuts for going to CVS everyday.
But wow is all I can say.

I'm really surprised they let you superstack your $/$$ coupon like that.

I need to move to another state! I tried doing something similar here in the MI area and management informed me I couldn't combine offers such as that and wouldn't let me get away with it.

I don't think it is by state, but from store to store. Sometimes it even depends on which manager is on duty at the time.

You might not want to move quite yet...

I really dislike the forced "work move" to the big city we had to make as it is anyway But I wasn't sure how that worked guess next time around I can try when the same girl isn't working and see what happens.

Good deal
CVS is overpriced on alot of things so really don't like to buy unless I have a coupon. So many people use my 24 hour CVS for quick runs and don't even bother with coupons..makes me shake my head sometimes.
Is the $5 off batteries one of their printables? TIA

I have wanted to do cvs ecb's but don't understand the whole process... I know I am dumb! I am a coupon addict though, and know how to combine mfr's with store coupons to get stuff free, but how does their ecb's program work?

here's the link for the $5 off the batteries; mine also had a $1 peelie on the package!

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gatewa...&step_nbr=160# energizer batteries

for the ecb's, it's like a rebate, but no waiting for your money--it prints as part of your receipt, you cut that part off & it's $$ off your next purchase! they make it sooo easy! luuuvvv cvs!!
