Question: Does your rite aid do this?

Our rite aid has been advertising buy one get one sales BUT when you get to the store the computers ring up 1/2 the original price on each product...so a $6.00 BOGO item would be rung up $3. for each item. This is fine until you use a BOGO coupon on a store BOGO sale. You would normally get one item free and then the coupon would take care of the other item, however, what they do is ring each one half off, and then take off one of the $3. items, leaving an outstanding balance of $3. to be paid. Am I being greedy? It seems if they have a sale for buy one get one and I also have a coupon for buy one get one, I would be able to get both products for free. ??? I've even had a cashier apologize for this policy, but have been told that is the way it is....is "that the way it is" everywhere else?

this has been going on for some time. the one advantage is if you only have 1 coupon for so much off 1. then you only have to buy 1 to use your coupon.

I have also been frustrated with this policy! Glad to hear I am not the only one.

My Rite Aid doesn't do that. I bought some Nature Made BOGO vitamins yesterday. I was charged $14.99 for the first one and $0.00 for the second. I used a $5 coupon so I paid $11.15 ($9.99 plus $1.16 tax). I live in southern Nevada.

Mine does too and it's actually pretty awesome, I think. The last time there was a buy 1 get 1 free Dove deal happening I got tons for just a few cents after using $1.50 off coupons for each one.

they have been doing it at my riteaid for the past few years. in a way its so much better. when u have a b1g1free ur getting 2 items for 1/2 price. and as some of the other posters mentioned when you have coupons they allow you to use one for each item. i actually like it better this way. but again everyone has their own feelings about it.
