Walgreens Christmas Clearance!
I hit up the Walgreens near my house last night. They have a 10 cent clearance cart and a 25 cent clearance cart but boy, the pickins' are slim!
I did manage to get a nice big Mrs. Pure's 20 ounce tub of Christmas Sugar Cookies (stars, snowman and ornaments with jewel like candy on top) for 25 cents. These are great because they are not made with preservatives and they are also dairy free for those with a dairy intolerance. Here's a link though the Christmas line is not on their website: http://www.puresfood.com/Tubs.html My fiance picked up two Lifesaver Mint Christmas Candy Ornaments (10 cents each) for his work truck - so he can always have fresh breath! ![]() My son got a very cute Snowman Marshmallow Candy Decorative Lollipop - it was big. 10 cents and got one for his friend, too. They also had Peanut Butter Santas for 10 cents, Christmas peeps (small package) for 10 cents, lots of jumbo candy canes (both the candy variety and the bubble gum variety) for 10 cents. A pretty package of gummi ornament candy (these were almost tempting to buy though I have no use for them) for 25 cents, a set of four in really pretty colors - almost looks too nice to eat! Plus more assorted candy 10 cents and 25 cents. I was really pleased. I was looking for anything that I could possibly use for Valentine's candy (red) but no such luck. -Vegasbrat |
