Does anyone shop at Food City ? - YDF - Your Daily Freebies Forum - Coupon Codes

I dont' know if they are specifically southern ? I had my very first internet coupon bad experience today.
I was at the Food City I shop at twice a week and I ALWAYS use internet coupons there without a problem. The lines were long so I got sent up to the counter up front. The lady looked at those big Hungryman coupons and told me that they do not accept internet coupons. I argued with her nicely for a minute, and told her I used them there every week, and she said then the cashiers shouldn't be taking them because they didn't get their money back for them.
Anyone else have this experience ? I'm wondering if I emailed Food City if I could find out if they are supposed to take them.

Well I did two things. I called and spoke to a manager. He sounded really young, and at first told me he thought they DID take internet coupons. Then he went to check, came back and says to me that They wont' take them for free items, and is has to be less than a $1.00 in value.
I said ' well you've taken them for a year at least', and he said ' well somebody wasn't doing what they are supposed to do'
I also emailed Food City, we'll see what they say.
If this is true, they've lost my business, because I use the heck out of internet coupons
